New Video: Corsets and Crossbones

I’m really on a roll with making videos! In this one, I read my creepy short story “Corsets and Crossbones” while wearing my Poe shirt. I thought it was fitting.

As I appear to be on a video kick, I wanted to ask you guys if you like them? Are they entertaining? I’m definitely still going to write legitimate blog posts moving forward, but I’m really having fun with the videos as well. You can now see how crazy I actually am!

Until next time,

  1. Story is great, but try a little more atmosphere in your reading setting. Lower the lights a bit, sitting or standing in front of something a little more interesting than a door :+)
    Otherwise, keep on keepin’ on.

PS = IMHO, you should be on the stage. You have a “presence” that would come across very well. Just my 2 cents.

    Have a GREAT summer!

    • Good to hear from you! Thank you for the recommendations. I’m new at the Youtube game, so any help I can get is very appreciated. I tried to play a song in the background, but the file was protected, so I couldn’t put it in. 😦

Aw, that makes me so happy to hear that. There’s nothing I want more than to be on a stage. I feel like I’m taking steps toward that goal. I sang a Lene Lovich song at a karaoke party over the weekend…does that count? 😉

      Thanks! You, too!

  2. Hey sweets, on youtube if you go into create and then audio library, there is a good musical selection that you can use for free. There are also a few websites that will give you royalty free tunes, so long as you give accreditation to the artist in the description bar.

    Love this story 🙂
