About

I’m Asylum Attendant. I have an affinity for synthpop music, androgyny, psychology, striped stockings and all things Goth. On this blog you will find glimpses into my odd life filled with insanity and lots of sass. I’m still figuring out what my next direction in life should be, but I sure am having fun in the process. One thing is certain: I’m committed to keeping it crazy real.

    • Aww, thanks Izzy! This was my visual representation of BubbleGoth: making dark things beautiful and beautiful things dark. I should do a whole post on BubbleGoth soon because it’s so fun. 🙂

      • ^,.,^ You’re welcome Asylum! Ooh! I would love to see that post. I would just sit, glued to the screen of my laptop devouring it till I am fully contempt, and then read on some more.

    • I do, but really only to follow musicians and stuff. I don’t update it or talk with friends on there. It’s hard to avoid Facebook these days. I did just get a Tumblr though and I’m slowly becoming obsessed. 😀

  1. I have to say, it is very rare I meet someone who shares my musical tastes. I love what you are doing here. You have a lot of content, and I’m looking forward to going through it all. What I have I read so far will definitely keep coming back.

As for Emilie Autumn…she is a genius. This woman has brought me to the brink of insanity trying to dissect her stuff. Do you have room in your Asylum? I may need to check in.

    • We are like musical mind twins. 😉 Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy my crazy little blog. 😀

We’re always accepting new patients. But beware, getting out is much harder than getting in…
